A man returning a winning ticket to a lottery jackpot worth $6.27 million (€4.7 million) could be awarded the prize.

Manuel Reija González knew that the ticket contained the winning numbers when he found it on a lottery counter, but still did the right thing and turned it in.

The man lives in the city of La Coruña in Spain. The drawing took place on June 30, 2012, but the winner is still mum about his or her identity, more than one year later.

If nobody claims the prize in two years, González has the right to keep it. The Local relays that the number on the ticket are 10, 17, 24, 37, 40 and 43.
