A few days ago, few had heard of Ted Williams, a homeless man who boasted of having a “golden voice.” Now he’s an Internet sensation and offers are pouring in – and his first ad for television has just aired.

Williams, who shot to overnight fame as “the homeless man with the golden voice,” has already done his first television ad, in which he does voice-over for Kraft.

The spot in question is for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, and it debuted during the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on ESPN. You can see it below – Williams comes in at the end.

Speaking of the ad, for which he had to work hard to remember the work he once did on radio, Ted says it’s more like “a gooey tale of family, hope, and second chances. And it’ll make you feel all warm inside.”

Indeed, reaction to it online has been extraordinary thus far, with fans rushing to video sharing websites like YouTube to check it out – and, first of all, to hear Ted’s voice at the end.

Kraft may not be the only one looking to capitalize on how famous Williams has become thanks to the Internet, the Examiner reports.

Various media outlets are looking to book him for voice over gigs, including MTV and ESPN. With a voice like his, it’s no wonder everybody wants a share of the pie, the e-zine notes.

“Internet sensation Ted Williams is suddenly finding even more ways to shine. We have already heard about the man getting offer from the likes of Oprah Winfrey, MSNBC, and Kraft Macaroni & Cheese,” Examiner writes.

“Williams has been handed two more potential opportunities from both ESPN and MTV. The later network actually comes a little bit of a surprise, particularly since we are looking at the same network here best known for ‘Jersey Shore’ and plenty of crazy shenanigans,” says the e-zine.

So far, Williams has not decided anything regarding the most recent offers from MTV and ESPN, Examiner further reports.

Until he does, check out the two videos of him below, in what can’t but be described as a true rags-to-riches feel-good story.
