14 DAY TRIAL // Robin Wright had an amazing weekend: first, she got engaged to boyfriend Ben Foster, then she went to win the award for Best Actress in a TV Drama at the Golden Globes 2014.
If you also consider the near-wardrobe malfunction she had on stage, during her acceptance speech, that makes 3 things she’s definitely grateful for right now.
Above is the speech in question; Robin won for her role on Netflix’s hit series “House of Cards” and, as you can see for yourself, she strove to keep her speech slightly different from all the previous ones, by cutting down on the names and just thanking everyone in general.
What you can’t really see in the video, partly because of its poor quality, is the fact that her dress came dangerously close to revealing much more skin than she planned.
The Daily Mail has several photos in which you can see Robin’s double tape, which was used under her breasts to keep the dress from moving. Clearly, the tape did not do its job.
Either way, nothing too bad happened. Considering that Robin was wearing a completely backless gown, cut low on the sides, such a mishap was to be expected, especially if she’d be moving a lot – hence the double tape that failed to do its job.
