Of all the people claiming they didn’t expect to win, Jacqueline really didn’t

It’s customary to hear actors winning an award say “Oh, I so didn’t expect this to happen!” but, out of all these, perhaps Jacqueline Bisset is the only one speaking the truth. Her speech at the Golden Globes 2014 is proof of that.

You can see it in full above. She won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for “Dancing on the Edge.”

It was arguably one of the most awkward moments of the night, both because producers failed to bleep out a curse word she used when she couldn’t remember names and because it was obvious that Jacqueline was really struggling to find something to say.

Later, the actress admitted that she thought her category would be later in the night and she was hungry and caught off guard.

“I was completely out of it, I was thinking about my dinner. And I still haven’t gotten my dinner yet,” she told reporters.
