After wowing critics and fans with her impressive take on Fantine in “Les Miserables,” it’s time for Anne Hathaway to start collecting her awards. She got her start the other night at the Golden Globes 2013.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association awarded Hathaway with a statuette in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture category for the role.

Above is a video of her acceptance speech, which was both touching and funny.

My favorite part was the beginning.

“Thank you for this lovely blunt object that I will forevermore use as a weapon against self-doubt,” Anne said before thanking the other women nominated in the same category as her.

She also thanked her “Les Miserables” cast and crew, and, last but not least, her husband and family.
