Unveiled earlier this month, Samsung Galaxy S6 will be released in more than 20 countries on April 10 or around that date.

Although the South Korean company did not confirm the price tag for which Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge would sell, there are many retailers and carriers that accept pre-order for the smartphones.

That being said, we already know the Galaxy S6 will cost around €700 outright in Europe and $700 in the United States. On the other hands, the Galaxy S6 Edge will be available for €150 more in Europe and $150 in the US.

If the price for which this flagship will come on the market doesn't impress you, then maybe a gold-plated version would be more appealing.

Well-known luxury company Goldgenie has just announced it will start taking pre-orders for 24k gold-plated Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge versions beginning March 20.

The smartphones will be available for no less than £1,664 (excluding VAT), which is about $2,500 or €2,300. Any of these two smartphones will be available in 24k gold, rose gold or platinum finishes.

Pre-orders are available until April 7

Those who can afford the price and pre-order any of the versions mentioned earlier will receive their smartphones two or three weeks after the official release of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, which happens on April 10.

This means that you'll be getting your gold-plated Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge around April 24 at the earliest or May 1 at the latest. It's also worth mentioning that Goldgenie will take pre-orders for these luxury versions of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge until April 7.

There aren't any details on specs because these expensive smartphones will be packed with the same hardware as the standard models. They will also run the same Android 5.0 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI on top.
