The clues are there, now all we need is Sony's confirmation on this

Even though Sony has God of War II on the launching pad ready to hit the U.S. on March 13 and Europe on March 30, there is serious reason to believe that God of War is heading towards the handheld gaming system. Why, you ask? Well, nothing serious to be really taken into consideration, other than the words "coming 2007" written at the end of the instruction manual of the game for the PS2, along with the possible hint that Ready At Dawn is taking over for the handheld release of God of War, as the studio's logo also features at the foot of the advert.

Sony hasn't said anything about this yet but the clues are there and Harrison's speech at GDC this Wednesday is surely going to contain some information on this. Even if it is just a rumor, Sony's president worldwide will still have to say yes or no to the question. Though, I have a slight feeling that if they're really thinking of GoW for the PSP, they're going to make teasing comments again, given it is in an early stage of development.

In the beginning of GoW II, Kratos starts out with full health, full magic power, Poseidon's Rage, and fully powered up Athena's Blades. After being stripped of most of his abilities, Kratos will be left with the lowest level Athena's Blades, lowest health and magic power, and no magical attacks. A PSP version of the game will surely lift Kratos back up and fill up all of his powers. Fans surely want this to happen.
