Not so long ago, Sony announced the God of War Collection, a pack that would include God of War I and God of War II as well as a demo for God of War III. The title was soon plagued by rumors of delays, and word that the package would no longer become available this year began to spread amongst the gamers. But Sony has just released a brand-new trailer and everything seems to still be on track. The trailer features both the first and the second installment of the game and acts as a guarantee to seal the deal for the fall release of the title.

The video showcases some memorable moments from the two games in remastered 720p graphics. The entire collection will be on a single Blu-ray disc with the added feature of trophies. The fear that the game would be pushed back into 2010 was started when GameStop changed the date of the product for next year. With this trailer Sony comes to reassure the fans that the games will become available in November.

The titles may have been ported to the PlayStation 3 and received the 720p graphics but that doesn't mean that they're at the PS3's graphical standards. It looks like they were remastered, not rebuilt from the ground up. This isn't in any way bad news; it is more of a word of caution for those God of War enthusiasts that might expect to get a sneak peek at the God of War 3 visuals.

The award-winning God of War in considered a true masterpiece of the platform as well as of the game genre. Ever since it came out, it proved to set a new standard for games and for what fans expect them to accomplish. The dynamic gameplay and the state-of-the-art graphics for the time of its release made God of War an instant and everlasting hit.
