14 DAY TRIAL // Peter Dinklage, whom most people know best as Tyrion Lannister, is now asking that the United States be free of cosmetic animal testing as soon as possible.
More precisely, the GoT star has joined hands with Cruelty Free International (CFI, for short) and is demanding that the US follow in Europe's footsteps and outlaw the practice of testing various cosmetic products on animals.
According to Ecorazzi, the actor's exact words on the matter at hand were as follows: “I am so pleased to support Cruelty Free International and be part of the global campaign to end cosmetics tests on animals.”
Furthermore, “It is unacceptable that animals continue to suffer around the world, including the United States of America, for the sake of beauty. I appeal to the USA to follow the European Union’s lead and end animal testing for cosmetics.”
For those unaware, Peter Dinklage has been a vegetarian ever since he turned 16, so few can argue against the fact that he truly holds animals very close at heart.
