Professionals working in fields like architecture and engineering have something to be looking for this month, as the Autodesk University 2013 show is underway in Las Vegas.

Mobile workstation manufacturers like BOXX are expected to unveil new devices and to invite the audience for product demonstrations and exhibits.

BOXX will present its latest portable mobile workstation, dubbed the GoBOXX 1920, which aims to prompt professionals everywhere to take their work out the confines of their studio, to enjoy the portability of the new laptop anywhere.

The device packs the latest Intel Haswell (Core i7) chip architecture and NVIDIA Quadro K2100M graphics, to guarantee strong performance while working with demanding CAD, animation, motion media and rendering software.

The GoBOXX features a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and comes equipped with up to 32GB of 1600 MHz memory and a 750GB hard drive. The mobile workstation ships with either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.

The base model of the GoBOXX is priced at $3,220 / €2,370, but the machine offers customization options.
