Let's face it, just about everyone out there is somewhat fascinated by the many gadgets that appeared in the numerous James Bond installments screened over the years (or at least that's how I imagine it to be), and at least a couple of people have actually purchased such gadgets for themselves, such as the SpyNet Mission Video Watch, available from ThinkGeek. The first (and most impressive) selling point the device has to offer is the huge number of functioning modes it provides, including here Time Mode, Alarm Mode, Timer Mode, Stop Watch Mode, Video Recorder Mode (preview or super-spy mode, when the watch face is blank) and Audio Recorder Mode (wave form preview or super-spy mode). Other available modes include the still picture recorder mode used for taking still images (again, with preview or without) or time lapse mode (5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes), the secrets mode, the Missions Mode (spy missions downloadable from SpyNet HQ), the Games Mode, Spy Apps Mode and Playback Mode. The device's internal memory is large enough to record up to 20 mins of video, over 4 hours of audio, and up to 2000 pics. Sadly, this thing is not exactly what one might call inconspicuous, since it measures 2.5 x 2.25 x 1 inches, just the TFT display having a 1.4-inch diagonal size. Another very interesting thing worth mentioning about the SpyNet Mission watch is the fact that its functionality can be extended even further with the use of a Snake Cam Add-On, an accessory that allows users to record pics/video around corners or hides in a button hole, and can also be used as a plug and play USB webcam. The add-on's bendy part measures around 20 inches, while the overall length is set at 38 inches. The ThinkGeek SpyNet Mission Video Watch sells for 60 US dollars, but if you want to benefit from the extra advantages provided by the Snake Cam Add-On, you'll have to cough up an extra 30 US dollars.
