GlobalFun named exclusive distributor for Europe and South America

Abandon Mobile, a developer and publisher of mobile content, announced it has signed a distribution agreement with GlobalFun. Under the agreement, GlobalFun will be the exclusive distributor of Abandon Mobile's games Bode Miller Alpine Racing, NBC Sports Real Golf, NBC Sports National Heads-Up Poker, NBC Sports Figure Skating, NBC Sports Speed Skating, and NBC Sports Ladies Golf in Europe and South America, and the non-exclusive distributor in India and Asia. The games will be made available through GlobalFun's relationships with customers such as Sony Ericsson, Vodafone, Jamba/Jamster, Telefonica Moviles, Swisscom, Claro.

All the games, which were originally developed and published by Abandon Mobile in the U.S. Market, are suited to players of all ages and offer a high degree of re-playability. Abandon Mobile currently has the exclusive global license for all NBC Sports branded mobile games. "Abandon's games are characterized by lively graphics, great gameplay, and offer a high-level of realism to typical mobile game environments," said Marcus Johansson, CEO of GlobalFun. "Based on the early success of these titles on the U.S. market, we are looking forward to bringing these titles internationally."
