Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to arrive in the United States in March via AT&T, but those who don’t want to wait one more month can pre-order the smartphone now from a third-party retailer and hope they will receive it earlier than March 18, AT&T Lumia 900’s rumored release date.

However, US-based retailer Negri offers the international variant of Lumia 900, which is not the same that will be sold by AT&T next month.

The main difference between the two models is the fact that AT&T version comes with LTE support, whereas the global version only features HSPA+.

Those who still prefer this unlocked variant of Lumia 900 can pre-order the smartphone for no less than $649.50 (495 EUR). As a reminder, AT&T is rumored to launch the Lumia 900 on March 18 for only $99.99 (75 EUR) with a new two year agreement.

Nokia Lumia 900 is powered by Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system and packs a 1.4 GHz single-core Qualcomm APQ8055 Snapdragon processor.

Although the smartphone lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion, owners will be able to take advantage of 16GB of internal memory.

On the back, Lumia 900 boasts an impressive 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Nokia Lumia 900 sports a large 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which is based on Nokia’s ClearBlack display technology. The screen supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

More importantly, Lumia 900’s 1830 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 300 hours of standby time or up to 7 hours of talk time.

According to the latest hearsay, Nokia is expected to officially announce the global Lumia 900 during the Mobile World Congress, which is set to kick off on February 26.
