Even though winter is still very much in progress on some parts of the world, GlacialTech figured it was still as good a time as any for its newest collection of laptop cooling devices to come out.

One thing about computers is that they ended up spawning industries for an entire array of auxiliary products.

For desktops, one can acquire a myriad of extra cooling solutions or aesthetics-enhancing LEDs, and while notebooks don't get as many accompanying hardware products, they are not bereft of them either.

One category of products that consumers often consider, when they seek better comfort and/or want the ensure their laptop is as optimally cooled as possible, is that of coolers.

Granted, all mobile PCs have their own, internal fans and heatsinks, but they still often run too hot for them to be comfortably held in one's lap.

That said, GlacialTech created the V-Shield collection of cooling stands, called V3, V5B, V5R and V7, respectively.

They boast a so-called lightweight design and use LED-equipped fans, which measure 200mm, except on the V3, which has a 120mm spinner.

They come with an aluminum base, have ergonomic designs and can hold notebooks with screen sizes of up to 15.6 inches.

What's more, when placed on a desk, four rubber feet make sure it doesn't get scratched.

For those that want more specs, the V3 measures 340 x 310 x 59 mm, V5B measures 345 x 340 x 43 mm (as much as the V5R) and V7 has a size of 350 x 335 x 45.5 mm

“This V-Shield Series laptop cooling Pad from GlacialTech is solidly built and is very stable. In fact, it is the most attractive looking notebook stands/cooling pads that are available in the market with slim and smart design for notebook models,” says the press release.

Unfortunately, GlacialTech chose not to provide the populace with any sort of pricing or availability details.
