14 DAY TRIAL // Gina Carano made her acting debut in “Haywire,” which Steven Soderbergh created especially for her, and she appeared in this year’s box office hit “Fast & Furious 6.” Fans will see her on the big screen in 2014 as well.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Carano’s most recent film, “In the Blood,” has been picked up for national distribution.
According to the publication, Anchor Bay Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home will handle distribution in theaters and on digital support.
“[Anchor Bay is] planning a limited theatrical release in 2014 plus a Blu-ray/DVD/VOD release to be jointly distributed with Fox,” THR says.
“In the Blood” sees Carano play a wife whose husband goes missing on their honeymoon. She sets out to find him, and uncovers a deep conspiracy.
The film also stars Stephen Lang, Luis Guzman, Amaury Nolasco, Cam Gigandet, Danny Trejo, Treat Williams, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Yvette Yates, and was directed by John Stockwell.
