Since Gigabyte is one of AMD's OEM partners, it has, of course, prepared a custom-cooled Radeon R9 270 graphics card.

The black cooler shroud and the dual-fan design of the WindForce 2X cooler gives it a passing resemblance to ASUS' R9 270 DirectCU II.

Interestingly enough, Gigabyte's board also has the same performance, with the Curacao Pro GPU overclocked by 50 MHz in both cases.

Thus, the Gigabyte GV-R9270OC-2GD (this is the part number) has a base clock of 950 MHz and a Boost clock of 975 MHz.

Everything else is left the same: 80 TMUs, 32 ROPs, 1,280 cores, 2 GB GDDR5 over 256-bit interface (5.6 GHz clock), dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

The price wasn't mentioned, but should be of a bit more than $180 / €180.
