Since CeBIT 2011 is almost here, we're set to see plenty of new hardware components being introduced on this occasion, starting with a brand-new overclocked GTX 580 graphics card from Gigabyte.

So, as TechPowerUp reports, during the show, Gigabyte plans to reveal their latest addition to their series of Super Overclock graphics cards, namely the GTX 580 SOC (GV-N580SO-15I), designed, quite obviously, to cater to the needs of extreme gamers and overclockers.

Since we're talking about a hardware component targeting an enthusiast market, it shouldn't come as a surprise that it offers just about the best-possible technologies and components Gigabyte has access to, such as a 40-nm processor, advanced GDDR5 memory technology, as well as Ultra Durable VGA+, capable of seriously boosting the cards' overclocking capabilities.

Moreover, the device offers GIGABYTE Extreme Dual BIOS technology, consisting of two different BIOS chips, each having its own separate purpose (no to mention the fact that switching between the two is quite an easy process, users being forced to simply press a button in order to do so).

Additionally, the card comes packed with an enhanced triple-fan cooling solution, sporting 3 PWM fans (that generate a very low amount of noise), accompanied by twin 8mm copper heat pipes and an 140x86 mm vapor chamber to maximize the speed of heat dissipation.

Last, but certainly not least, it's important to mention the Gigabyte GV-N580SO-15I card had to go through a selection process the company calls GPU Gauntlet Sorting, ensuring the fact that owners will be able to enjoy quite an impressive usage experience, whether they're into extreme gaming or overclocking.

No details regarding the pricing, availability and additional tech specs regarding the new SOC graphics card by Gigabyte have been provided thus far, but we're eagerly looking forward to finding out more details on this topic (probably after the company makes the official announcement).
