While we're not really specialized in the field of musical instruments, we can't really let a very cool one go by without saying a few words about it, and that's exactly the case with one of the latest electric guitars coming from famous guitar manufacturer Gibson, namely the Firebird X, that has just been unveiled by the company. The Firebird X Limited Edition has a chambered body manufactured from ash wood, while the 1-piece maple neck sports an asymmetrical neck profile (.8/.925). The 23-fret Angelim Rajado (Brazilian Marblewood) 24.75" fretboard with abalone inlays is equally impressive, and the same can be said about the fact that the guitar features robot tuners, Tune-o-matic piezo robot bridge, and stop bar robot tailpiece. Furthermore, we'll also have to mention that the Firebird X is equipped with several FBX pickups, namely alnico II in the neck, ceramic middle, and alnico V bridge humbuckers, as PremierGuitar points out. Similar to most other electric guitars, the Firebird X comes with plenty of built-in effects controlled by the guitar's own electronics via the 11-position Gear Shift Knob rotary knob, effects faders for Modulation/Echo/Reverb (blue) and Compression/Distortion/EQ (red), and three three-position toggles with wet/dry blend: Modulation/Reverb/Echoplex (blue), Compression/Distortion/EQ (red), Pickup programming/Piezo/Tuning (silver). It's also quite interesting to notice that the guitar is accompanied by a very rich accessory pack, including a Bluetooth number controller pedal, Bluetooth continuous pedal, and battery power converter for the rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. The guitar also ships with a unique FBX case and Ableton Live 8 and Guitar Rig 4 Pro, which should prove to be quite helpful during the whole creative process. As you'll be able to see for yourselves should you decide to visit the product page, the Gibson Firebird X electric guitar is set to go on sale on December the 11'th for a rather spicy $5,570.
