Ubisoft is getting ready to deploy the sci-fi shooter on the PC platform

Ubisoft has finally pinned a release date on Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for the PC platform, confirming its arrival in June. The company also highlighted some of its features and a list of minimum and recommended system requirements.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was originally intended to appear exclusively on consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 but, after an outcry from PC gamers, Ubisoft confirmed that it’s going to bring the futuristic shooter to that platform.

Now, after more and more details about Future Soldier kept appearing ahead of its May release date on consoles, the French company has confirmed that PC gamers will be able to experience it in June.

More specifically, North American PC owners get it on June 12, while European ones will be able to play it on June 15.

In order to get them more excited about Future Soldier, Ubisoft also unveiled a list of special features that will be present in the PC version of the Ghost Recon game, so check them out below.

PC specific features

PC high standard visuals (DX11 renderer, new Hi-Quality Assets, new Post Process Effects, multi-monitor solutions support, TriDef stereoscopic support). DirectX11 enhanced: Tessellation (for soft 3D models), Compute Shaders-based realistic lighting (for Global Illumination), Volumetric Fog. Online Widget: Party, Friends and Ghost Feed functionality can be accessed at any moment from any screen. Extended party functionality: simplified and more flexible invitation system. Party text Chat. uPlay Friends system Fully customizable controls for the localized keyboards If you want to make sure that your computer will run Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the company has also posted the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. Bear in mind that a one-time check will be performed when you install the game, so an online connection is required for that moment.
