Those UK gamers are sooo lucky...

While yesterday we informed you about those lovely Playboy gaming ladies from the December 2007 issue of the magazine, another major adult publication comes into play today. This time we're dealing with FHM, but it won't be another gaming divas affair, but a special offer for the UK subscribers to the magazine. After subscribing to FHM, you'll receive a copy of the long-awaited Assassin's Creed title as a bonus... This special offer is available at ?38 on GreatMagazines.co.uk and since we're a week away from the game's launch you might avoid the queues and choose this sneaky way around them.

Of course, Ubisoft's taking advantage of the male public's weakness: women by associating it with yet another weakness, not beer, but videogames. Offering a major title like this with a major adult magazine like FHM can be a bold move, but it may also show that Assassin's Creed is intended for a more mature audience... It's one thing when Disney characters sell a gadget and a totally different issue when a pornstar sells a new line of phones, for example.

Since Top Gear has teamed up with Gran Turismo 5's producers in order to develop some specific content which will be included in the game, we might as well see the latest GT title being offered as bonus with the Top Gear magazine as well. There are things that go perfectly together, but I'm still searching for something that FHM and Assassin's creed share...besides popularity. Maybe we're in for a surprise and some character included in the game is featured in FHM, showing her beautiful body. Who should Konami team up with in order to offer Metal Gear Solid 4 for free? A weapons and ammo monthly? That, in case Ubisoft hasn't already considered this as an option for a future Splinter Cell title...
