Via PS3's store

To tell you the truth, I've misplaced by Crash Bandicoot CD quite some time ago and I've never looked for it since. But now, I can get it via the PlayStation 3 store (darn, I remembered I don't have a PS3). But if you have one, you can get Crash and other PSOne games via the PlayStation store.

Hot Shots Golf 2, Cool Boarders, Syphon Filter, Crash Bandicoot and Tekken 2 are available for download for just US$ 5.99. You can get them and then transfer them onto your PSP. You won't be able to play these games on the PS3 (and frankly, that would be quite hilarious-using a next-gen for such low-tech games) but, Sony's console serves as a means of download.

Get your memory stick ready because Hot Shots Golf 2 will take up 157 MB of your space, Cool Boarders -282 MB, Syphon Filter-358 MB, Crash Bandicoot-469 MB and Tekken 2- 535 MB.

Some Nintendo freaks might say that these PSOne games take up too much space, as the games downloadable via the Virtual Console are much, much smaller, e.g. N64 Mario takes up only 90 blocks - about 20 MB.

The first Crash Bandicoot game was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment back in 1996 for the first Sony console. Now, ten years later, we see it as a downloadable item on the PSP, and I must sincerely tell you that I'm as much as excited as I was ten years ago. I just can't wait to play the whole 32 levels again and to defeat Papu Papu, Ripper Roo, Koala Kong and Dr. Neo Cortex.
