Gameloft and Touchstone teamed up to bring a game inspired from the famous TV series. Were you looking forward for a newly released Gameloft mobile phone game? Well, if you are an adventure fan, and on top of that, a fan of the famous TV show Lost, this game should be exactly what you're looking for.

Gameloft has previously signed an agreement with Touchstone TV for the development and publishing of mobile games based on both the Lost and the Desperate Housewives TV series. The Lost mobile game will offer a storyline created by the team behind the popular TV series. You'll play the game through the eyes of Jack, the charismatic hero of this adventure, who has landed on a mysterious island after having survived a plane crash.

Your main goal is to save the lives of passengers at the accident site, set up a camp, explore the jungle, provide food by hunting, witness unexplained phenomena as well as avoid bizarre traps scattered around the hostile environment. The game includes several key moments from the TV show as well, such as the crash scene, running from the smoke monster or meeting the Others. Basically, what you have to do is find an efficient way to solve the mysteries of the island and survive to tell the story, while keeping up with a pretty large number of other activities and taking on a multitude of challenges including exploring, hunting, helping the wounded or searching from dynamite.

"The success of both Lost and Desperate Housewives has been unparalleled," ABC Entertainment and Touchstone TV senior VP business development Bruce Gersh said. "Both shows have a huge following with deeply loyal fans, and we are confident that Gameloft, with their creative and talented pool of producers, will exceed those expectations and develop a game that captures the defining essence of each show."

While you're playing the game, you'll be able to interact with several main characters of the series, Kate, Locke, Sayid and others, as well as explore the island's main sites including the beach, the jungle, inside the Hatch, the Black Rock and more.
