After introducing its Cloud-based productivity suite this year, Microsoft provided customers with a range of resources designed to deliver insight into Office 365.

Case in point: Office 365 Beta Data Sheets, documentation which is available free of charge via the Microsoft Download Center.

Office 365 is currently in Beta, with the Redmond company promising that it will be wrapped up in 2011.

Undoubtedly there are customers thinking about embracing the Cloud productivity offerings from the software giant, and the Office 365 Beta Data Sheets offer them a chance to explore Office 365 before they actually start to test drive it.

“Office 365 lets you quickly enhance and expand your collaboration and communication services with enterprise-class security and reliability. You don’t have to worry about costly server deployment or time-consuming server maintenance tasks.

“Because it’s designed to work with the Office applications your people already know, you can offer them the best productivity experience across the PC, phone, and browser—without heavily investing in retraining,” Microsoft explained.

The Redmond company is emphasizing the strong points of Office 365 in the documentation offered to customers.

According to the software giant, its Cloud productivity suite is offering enterprise-class security and reliability, IT control and efficiency, user familiarity and productivity.

The resource allows customers to get details on all of the services packaged into Office 365, including: SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Lync Online, Office Professional Plus, Office Web Apps, as well as offer information on the Office 365 subscription plans.

“With Office 365, you can take advantage of sophisticated collaboration and messaging capabilities without the operational burden of on-premises server software.

“Office 365 keeps you in control and provides business-class reliability, high availability, comprehensive security, simplified management, and familiar user interface so that you can confidently choose it as your collaboration and communication solution,” Microsoft concluded.
