As expected, the fact that comedian George Lopez got caught and photographed passed out drunk on a casino floor in Canada didn't stop him from poking fun at the incident. Proof that the man does not take himself lightly, the 52-year-old used the event as a joke on his stand-up comedy show, a day after he was arrested for public intoxication.

It was rather predictable that he was going to treat the entire matter as a funny happening, since right after the arrest and the subsequent photo of him sleeping on the floor began to be shared on Twitter, he said in an interview “Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning. I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor.”

The funny thing is that George was performing at the very casino he passed out the previous night, the Caesars Windsor resort in Ontario, Canada. He told audiences in his performance that “I just did in Windsor, what Justin Bieber does in America,” justifying his action as payback, according to TMZ.

Of course, he's referring to the Canadian pop star, Justin Bieber, who has been arrested for DUI and drag racing in Miami earlier this year, and has been making headlines with drug and alcohol scandals. There was such a buzz with Justin's antics, that people actually signed a petition to have the singer deported back to Canada.

At the moment, Justin is facing several trials both in the US and Canada, for drug related-issues, but also for assault and vandalism.

Clearly, George Lopez is a man that keeps up with current events and was witty enough to make a public intoxication arrest seem like an act of vengeance on Canada which is to blame, in his opinion, for sending Bieber to America.

After his drunken arrest, Lopez was released and no charges were pressed against him, as he was merely taken by officers to a drunk tank where he was left to sober up and then sent home.

The only moral issue in this incident is the fact that George Lopez is actually living it up on a kidney which he received from his former wife, as he was suffering from complications due to a genetic condition that causes deterioration in the kidneys. The procedure took place in 2005 and the donor was his wife, Ann, whom he later divorced in 2011.
