14 DAY TRIAL // Racing men seem to be getting more and more desirable. After Nicole Scherzinger fell for Lewis Hamilton, it's now the turn of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell to dip her finger in the pool of fast men who love fast cars.
The Mirror is reporting that Halliwell, 41, is currently in a relationship with Formula One boss and former Formula 3000 driver Christian Horner. These two have been friends for years, first being spotted together in 2009; but it's only now, after Christian has split up from his long-time partner Beverley Allen, that the couple has been spotted together, arm in arm, around London.
Geri, who is notorious for her unlucky love life, is said to be gushing to her friends over her new man, who, at the tender age of 31, took over the F1 Red Bull Racing Team. This was back in 2005, and since then he's managed to get more experience, as well as enough exposure to land himself such a famous girl.
A source close to the new couple reveals that “Geri and Christian get on really well and they have lots to talk about. He’s been really good for her and they are very relaxed about people seeing them together.”
It looks like both of them have a lot in common and their new relationship is playing of that “They are both parents and have lots in common in that respect.”
In fact, there is some proof to indicate that things could be getting serious for Geri “She’s been gushing about him to a lot of friends and it seems like this one could be for keeps.”
Ever since she's hit the big time with her band, Geri has been linked to numerous famous men throughout the years. Her list of conquests includes DJ Chris Evans, Russel Brand, scriptwriter Sascha Gervasi (with whom she had her daughter Bluebell), shipping tycoon Fabrizio Politi and even Robbie Williams who hasn't spoken about her in the best of terms.
He would go on to describe her as a “demonic little girl playing with dolls and a tea set. She started speaking like a psychotic child and developed this possessed look, it was genuinely scaring me.”
At the moment, the only thing that could put a dampen on their love affair is Horner's ex-partner, Beverley, who has given birth to his daughter Olivia just six months ago. Beverley still lives at their Oxfordshire mansion that they used to share during their 14 years together.
