Admittedly, Gerard Butler is as funny as he’s dedicated to everything he does, and he’s more than proved this on countless occasions. As his fans know, he never takes himself too seriously, which could also mean there’s no reason for him to do so with others. This was probably what was on Butler’s mind the other day when he hung a fake “baby” over a balcony in London.

In doing so, the actor took a direct hit at none other than the late King of Pop Michael Jackson who, in one of his most disturbing moments, took baby Blanket and slung him over the balcony of his hotel room. He had previously covered his face with a towel, and later said that he only did so to give the photographers and fans outside something to look at, and that he had taken all precautions that the baby was safe. Butler, on the other hand, has not yet commented the “incident.”

Laughing almost hysterically, the famed actor took a plant from his hotel room, reports say, covered it with a white towel and then took it out to the balcony. He seemed to be having a lot of fun, for which reason everybody else found the joke quite hilarious, although fans of the late singer might object to it as being in bad taste so soon after Michael’s passing. The plant was in no way harmed during the incident.

Speaking of having fun, not long ago, as he was promoting “Gamer” on Jimmy Kimmel, Butler recalled how the cast used to make fun of the two directors of the film. In almost excruciating detail, the actor tells the talk show host that, once, the entire cast ordered Krispy Kreme donuts and sent them to the directors as a thank you. The next day, though, they ordered more donuts, placed them in “between [their] bums” and took pictures of said historical moment.

The pictures were then sent to the directors, who obviously thought that the donuts they ate were the same with the donuts that had been photographed in such an awkward position. It could be frat house type of humor, as some describe it, but, as long as it’s not hurting anybody, there is probably very little harm in it.

Compare the two photos and judge for yourselves. Gerard Butler is now in London promoting “Law Abiding Citizen,” in which he stars opposite Jamie Foxx.
