Gerard Butler, the actor who brought back the cool factor to skimpy war fashion, as he’s often labeled in the media, is currently in Philadelphia, shooting for his upcoming film, “Law Abiding Citizen.” Butler, as it is known, is a most dedicated thespian, no holds barred, but there’s more to it than just that: he is also very kind to the other members of the cast, it has emerged.

According to NBC Philadelphia, Butler has hired masseuses especially for the overworked, exhausted crew members who could not leave the set, for one reason or another. This was his way of showing his support for his mates, it is further being said, and it has only made the entire crew love and appreciated him even more.

“As for the massages, Butler personally paid for a masseuse to come on set last week so that the exhausted crew, which has been working days and nights, could relax a bit.” the aforementioned source reports, citing unnamed informants on the set of the film.

As per the same sources, “Law Abiding Citizen,” the story of one man’s path to finding justice, the vigilante way, will also include a couple of scenes with Butler sans any clothes. Spies say that, while the scenes are not meant to support a love story, they are relevant to the story of the character Butler is playing. Either way, as NBC Philadelphia points out, the sources fail to mention whether the actor is still in the enviable shape he was back in his “300” days, so fans will just have to wait until the movie is released to see that.

Speaking of which, “Law Abiding Citizen” is set for release on March 26, 2010. It also stars Jamie Foxx but, sadly, more details on the production are not available at this time. A short description of it tells, though, that, “The plot focuses on a man who, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, returns to extract justice from the assistant district attorney who prosecuted the case against their killers. His vengeance threatens not only the man who allowed mercy to supersede justice, but also the system and the city that made it so.”

Until now, “Law Abiding Citizen” has also shot a couple of scenes in prisons in the Northeast and Delaware County.
