One of the highlights of yesterday's court session in the George Zimmerman murder trial was the moment in which the defendant explained why he felt threatened by the victim.

During the trial, the police officer arriving at the scene after the murder of Trayvon Martin took the stand.

“You are going to die tonight,” the teenager told Zimmerman, according to the latter's statement as relayed to the officer.

As I previously detailed, Zimmerman reenacted the scene in front of the officer the day after fatally shooting the victim.

He told them that Martin tried to grab his head and hit the pavement with it, but the teenager never succeeded.

When he called 911 before allegedly being attacked, Zimmerman reported a suspicious-looking young man who may have been on drugs.
