The first reports of fights in the new couple of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are beginning to surface, and it would seem the preferred motive is that of George being a party animal who likes to booze a little bit too much.

The information is presented in a very unflattering manner by OK! Magazine and it's already getting shot down by several other news outlets, such as Gossip Cop, which is calling the story fake. Still, insiders with the couple report that George and Amal have had their first big blowup, according to OK!

“They’ve been engaged just about one month, but George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have already had their first big blowup – and his drinking is to blame,” begins the tabloid, adding that “Amal confronted George recently about his party habits, and the discussion got heated fast.”

The source indicates that Amal is begging “him to take it easier when it comes to booze.” There could be some truth in there somewhere, as last month George was reported to have gotten into a drunken argument with a Las Vegas casino boss over President Obama, whom he considers a close friend and won't stand up for his verbal trashing while in his presence.

Other than that, there is really no indication that George is a heavy drinker and one who likes to go overboard on a regular basis. However, the report continues to reveal from inside the new relationship between the actor and the human rights lawyer by saying that Amal “lives a healthy lifestyle” and she warned Clooney that they have “a lot of events leading up to their wedding, and she doesn’t want any of them ruined by a drunken scene.”

Gossip Cop, meanwhile, has spoken with a friend close to Clooney and the person in question labeled the story as “completely fabricated.” This wouldn't be the first time a tabloid is caught making up news, but the fact of the matter is that sources close to the couple are very scarce, since both of them are fiercely private and know to keep their personal affairs a secret.

This is also one of the reasons why a simple search on the Internet will reveal that there are few pictures of the couple, and most of them are taken by paparazzi from a distance. George and Amal don't need to show off their relationship and they haven't posed for magazines yet.
