Overclocking with style

Every now and again somebody takes the lead in a domain, and the rest follow, according to the "the sheppard and the sheep" principle. The example that best fits the fashion business, where it is a lot easier to take the example of different "stars" and dress alike, because you actually see them on TV and imagine how that outfit will look on you. But when it comes to designing some specialized body kit for a car, people don't get to see the car until it is finished, and then in order for other manufacturers to build something similar, they must first see it as well.

Now there have been a lot of different "sheep" which followed the same "sheppard", in this case a lot of companies have started "over night" manufacturing memory modules, when they saw that the trend was catching on. Also in the same line of thoughts, a lot of companies that manufacture video cards have also taken this road, once it became clear to them that it was profitable. But from time to time there are companies that pull out some very interesting ideas that take the market by storm and prove to be very successful.

Such is the case with water-cooled memory modules, a different spin to a known concept, and we've also seen Ferrari and Lamborghini notebooks, but now it's time for GeIL to bring something new to the market, and their Esoteria series of memory modules is just that. These modules come in two frequency ranges, the DDR2-800 and DDR2-1066. Aside from the technical specifications, which place the both 2x1GB memory kits at a very low latency, 4-4-4-12. Their SPD is optimized for overclocking and the voltage can take values in between 1.9 and 2.5V. The main "attraction" of these kits is their heat-spreaders, they are made out of carbon-fiber.

This wouldn't be such a big thing if the carbon-fiber wasn't made "by renowned aftermarket BMW Tuner-Vorsteiner with dry vacuumed form inspired by F1 racing technology." Add to this recipe the fact that each carbon-fiber heat-spreader is hand crafted to fit you best, and you can already consider these modules to be "one of a kind".
