The only bit of info that hasn't been revised is the arrival date

I just finished talking about how some of the specifications of the upcoming NVIDIA graphics cards had been proven wrong, but there is one detail that endures: the availability date.

After learning of all the roadmap changes at AMD and Intel, although admittedly those are for CPUs, I wouldn't have been shocked to hear the Maxwell would be delayed.

It won't happen though, fortunately. All signs indicate that NVIDIA will, indeed, launch the two cards on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

It was a sort of point of stability in the recent leak, which debunked some of the previous details that emerged on the GeForce GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti cards.

These two will probably be the only 28nm-based Maxwell. By late 2014, TSMC (the foundry that makes NVIDIA and AMD GPUs) should have the 20nm manufacturing process ready.
