Though it has already been revealed, the newest video card developed by Gainward seems to have become official and ready to grace customers with its higher clocks and better cooling.

As end-users know, NVIDIA released the latest GeForce 500 card not overly long ago, one that got quite favorable scores in reviews.

The product in question is the high-end GeForce GTX 570 and was, needless to say, immediately customized, to some extent, by its maker's many manufacturing partners.

Now that the GTX 570 is poised to be around for a while, as the prime choice of enthusiasts (since the mighty 580 is more expensive), redesigned models are bound to debut quite frequently.

One of those customized cards is the Gainward Phantom, the same one that just started out its journey on the worldwide market.

Some may remember that the board was previewed twice already, though the leak form a couple of days ago held more info on it and the cooler with six nickel-plated heatpipes and three PWM fans. Now that the official launch has been made, those interested should soon start to find it listed online.

For those that seek an update or reminder, the card is, as its siblings, based on the GF110 graphics processing unit.

480 CUDA cores are present, along with 1,280 MB of GDDR5 VRAM and a memory interface of 320 bits, plus one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express power connectors.

As for the clock speeds, the GPU works at 750 MHz instead of the stock 732 MHz, while the shaders and VRAM are set at 1,500 MHz and 3,900 MHz, respectively, instead of 1,464 MHz and 3,800 MHz.

Finally, the newcomer has the obligatory dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, as well as support for 3-way SLI, PhysX and CUDA, among other things.

Unfortunately, those seeking to buy one will have to wait until it show up online because the price has not been mentioned.
