After having said its piece in the field of social networking, by unleashing the NV Series of notebooks, Gateway is now moving on to a different computing segment, that of all-in-one personal computers. To be more specific, the California-based PC supplier has updated its One ZX line of AiO personal computers with a pair of new models. The company decided to make use of both Intel and AMD technology, in order to render its product line appealing to a wider variety of prospective purchasers.

The two all-in-ones are known as the ZX4300 and ZX6900. The former is based on a central processor created by Advanced Micro Devices, whereas the latter operates on a chip constructed by Intel Corp. Both run the same operating system, however, (Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) and have somewhat similar memory, storage and even connectivity capabilities.

The One ZX6900-01e is a 23-inch model whose processor is known as the Intel Core i3-530 (2.93 GHz). This CPU is paired with up to 4GB of memory and a hard drive of a 640GB capacity. Additionally, the system boasts a choice between a Blu-ray Combo DVD Burner and 4x Blu-ray Writer, as well as network connectivity via Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi. The Display itself has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and support for touch input. Still, for those that may wish to play multimedia on larger HDTVs or monitors, an HDMI output is provided.

The Z4300-01e has a 2.7GHz AMD Athlon II X2 235e CPU at its heart, a 20-inch 1600 x 900 touchscreen, a 640GB HDD, an 8x DVD writer and 4GB of memory. Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and a pair of 5W speakers are also present. Finally, the AiO boasts the Radeon HD 4270 integrated graphics.

The One ZX4300-01e will debut in June, whereas the ZX6900-01e is already shipping. They are priced at $750 and $1,019.00, respectively.
