Although a serious actor with an astounding pedigree and an accomplished acting career, Gary Oldman has recently made a foray into the mainstream media. He's starred in several Hollywood blockbusters and now he's even turning to rapping.

The London radio station 95.8 Capital FM invited Oldman in their studio and requested that he do a live reading of the popular chart hit “Timber” by Pitbull. The end result, I assure you, is worth the price of a cinema ticket any day.

Hearing Oldman give a dramatic reading in his best British accent on verses like “this biggity boy's a diggity dog” is one of those priceless moments only the internet can offer to us.

Words like “booty,” “twerkin” and “biggity” simply sound so much better when said in a British accent, and when you add Gary Oldman's voice to the mix, you're bound to have an instant success on your hands.

Not even the radio show anchors could contain their laughter as Oldman broke into his British-accented rap. He actually does a very good job and I'm not surprised that this will eventually lead to a collaboration on some rap album in the nearest possible future.
