In case you need a break, somebody thought about the perfect Chinese solution to get you out of the daily routine, with what seems to be the best alternative to expensive devices on the market.

The manufacturer, a.k.a Shenzhen Holide is an unknown PMP maker, which claims to have just the right thing for you, such as the HM-1303 portable media player. Not funny name... When it comes to its design line, the media player sports video capabilities, meaning it can deal with a lot of file formats such as: RM, RMVB, AVI, DAT, FLV, MPG and MPEG for the video formats and MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC for the audio playback compatibility.

However, what sounds really promising are the player's gaming options that really guarantees cool leisure time, since it can work with NES (GB, GBC and GBA), MD, SFC, Neo Geo and 8-, 16- and 32-bit games. So, basically, this baby can be fed with almost all formats especially developed for this kind of device.

Since it can also do some photo viewing, the HM-1303 can also display JPG, BMP and GIF images, and allows a popular double use, as an e-book reader, which is also complimented with audio playback.

The PMP reveals a nice unsurprisingly wide 3-inch LTPS TFT screen that shows 16 million colors. Moreover, the sound performances can be customized with one of the integrated 10 EQ settings including BBE, SRS and WOW.

File transfers are possible through the USB 2.0 port. Too bad the sharing of the content is not possible, as the player doesn't feature any built-in speaker system for that. And if you're wondering about the pricing and availability details of this sober PPM, there is no official info on that, yet! Hopefully, it won't be more than 150 bucks a pop!
