A new special offer is now available for Android mobile phone users in the UK, coming from Gameloft and affecting all of the HD games the company has released for the mobile platform.

Today and tomorrow, through a new 48-hour sale, all of the Gameloft HD games for Android are available for UK users for only £1.

All those who would like to try out one of the company's games on their Android devices should simply head over to the company's website to see what’s in store for them.

As the company notes on their blog, the offer would stand only if the end of the world won't go down today:

Apparently May 21st 2011 is Judgement Day, according to some old bloke in the newspaper. We’re not ones to put all our eggs in one basket and believe everything we hear, but we thought if the end is nigh then what better way spend our apparent last days on Earth than with one massive gaming fest?

We don’t have time to arrange a parade of competitive gaming goodness, but we can offer you Android HD games for just £1 for 48 hours (…or 18 hours if predictions are to be believed). So head to the bank, draw out your life savings and invest in some crystal-clear HD gaming goodness.

The said offering kicked off at 11.59PM on Friday, May 20th, and will end on Sunday, May 22nd, at 11.59PM.

The deal was put in place only for the UK users who own devices running under Google's Android operating system, and would have all of the company's HD games available for £1.

“Starting 11.59PM Friday 20th May you can pick up any Gameloft HD game for just £1,” Gameloft notes in the said blog post.

“Offer includes all supported devices, and even recent releases such as N.O.V.A. 2 and Starfront: Collision! To take advantage of this offer visit the below link using your mobile device once the sale goes live.”

Some of the titles available from Gameloft would include: Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden, Shadow Guardian, Dungeon Hunter 2, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, N.O.V.A. 2, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, or Asphalt 5.

All Android users who would like to try out one of the Gameloft HD games should head to the company's website here.
