Galaxy Tab, the Android-based 7-inch tablet PC that Samsung is set to bring to the market in the near future, has just got a two minutes video promo published on the web, aimed at offering us a glimpse at what to expect from the high-end device.

Not that we weren't already aware of what the Android-based slate was set to offer to its users, but it seems that Samsung considered it fit to increase the awareness on its device a little bit, and a video walkthrough was the company's option.

Nothing quite new is unveiled in the clip embedded at the bottom of this article, but this does not meant that the clip won't make you at least smile.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab can be seen at one point stashed in the back pocket of a pair of jeans, something that not all those who will purchase it would agree with.

However, the device does have all the features that one might have wanted for an Android-based handset, including support for video calling, or fast Internet browsing.

Galaxy Tab is now a mobile phone, even if it looks somehow like a larger Galaxy S device, that's for sure.

Its features list include Samsung's Media Hub, social networking connectivity, Qik, support for a wide range of Google services, including Google Maps, as well as appealing multimedia features.

Integrated email features, microSD memory card slot with support for cards of up to 32GB, DLNA capabilities, or support for the Android Market are also among the features the new device comes to the market with.

US customers should benefit from expanded availability of the Android-based tablet, as Samsung already announced the launch of its device on all four major carriers in the country.

Users in other countries should also receive the device this fall, including Canadians via Bell and Rogers, or Europeans via some carriers on the old continent, such as Vodafone, T-Mobile UK, or 3UK.
