Galaxy Tab, the first Android-based Tablet PC the South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has unveiled officially to the world last month, should soon make an appearance on the airwaves of wireless carrier T-Mobile UK too.

The tablet PC was announced officially a while ago as on its way to UK market come November 1st, wireless carriers already started to put it on their websites.

O2 announced a few days ago plans to add the new slate to its offering, and now T-Mobile UK puts Galaxy Tab on its coming soon page.

Also on that page, one can see another Android-based device, the Motorola DEFY, two Nokia phones, the X3 Touch & Type and Nokia C7, and the Sony Ericsson Yendo.

Here's what the carrier notes on Galaxy Tab: “Everything you need in one device: phone, computer, sat nav and MP3 player. It's lightweight with a 7" screen, so you can slip it into your pocket or handbag.”

For those who did not meet the tablet PC before, we should note that it runs under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, and that it offers access to a wide range of services and applications.

Moreover, the device comes with a 1 Ghz processor inside, HSUPA & HSDPA connectivity (beside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), a 4,000 mAh battery, and dual cameras.

The slate also sports a nice range of multimedia features, including music and video player, YouTube and e-Books, as well as enhanced support for email, messaging, social networking, voice and video calls, and more.

The Galaxy Tab is expected to arrive on T-Mobile UK's network in November. Those interested in learning more on its landing should head over to T-Mobile's website here to register for updates.

Also in November, the operator should launch two other devices, including the rugged Motorola DEFY (3.7" touchscreen, water resistant, Android), and the Nokia C7 (3.5" AMOLED touch screen, 8 megapixel camera, HD video recording).
