Even at supposedly low prices, they still have 80Plus rating

It looks like Galaxy has finished putting together a new series of power supply units, called Alloy.

There are two of them and their exact names are Alloy PG-400 and Alloy PG-350.

As one should not have too much trouble guessing, the outputs are of 400W and 350W, respectively.

That said, the prices haven't been uncovered yet.

On the bright side, shipments should start soon, so keep an eye on your local retailer, just in case.

The Alloy power supplies have active PFC, dual-forward switching topology and an efficiency of over 80% (80Plus rating).

Gamers with limited finances should be able to make do with the single 6+2-pin PCI Express power plug (for graphics cards). After all, it's not like they'll be able to afford more than one video board.
