Following the official launch of Galaxy S5 LTE-A earlier this week, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is expected to focus on the release of a new handset in the popular Galaxy Note series, and some more info on the phone is now available.

The device, long said to arrive on the market under the name of Galaxy Note 4, has been spotted by the guys over at GforGames in the AnTuTu database, and some of the hardware specifications that it should feature have been unveiled to the world.

First and foremost, we should note that the phone has emerged in the benchmarking application in two different versions, one featuring Samsung’s own Exynos 5433 processor inside, while the other being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU.

The former phone version features model number SM-N910C, while the latter has been spotted as Samsung SM-N910S. However, no official confirmation on any of them has been provided as of now.

According to SamMobile, the SM-N910C will be the first handset in Samsung’s lineup to pack the aforementioned Exynos 5433 processor.

The SM-N910S, on the other hand, will include the aforementioned Snapdragon 805 processor that has been clocked at 2.5GHz, the same as on the Galaxy S5 LTE-A earlier this week.

Apparently, Samsung will make the mobile phone official with a 5.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), which would make it a powerful competitor against LG's G3 handset.

Moreover, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 handset is expected to arrive on the market with 3GB of RAM inside, as well as with 32GB of internal memory, most probably complemented by a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

On the back, the new device should sport a 16-megapixel camera, the same as the Samsung Galaxy S5 before it did. It should be able to offer 4K video capabilities, while allowing users to make video calls on the go courtesy of a 3.6MP front camera.

Additionally, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is said to run under the Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system, though it might actually arrive on shelves with the newer Android 4.4.4 OS iteration.

All in all, Galaxy Note 4 should easily prove one of the most powerful handsets out there when made official in September this year, provided, of course, that its rumored hardware specs pan out. Hopefully, more info on it will emerge soon, so keep an eye on this space for updates.
