Galaxy Nexus, the latest Google phone out there, is expected to become available for purchase on the UK market as soon as November 17th, and wireless carrier Three UK will have it available on its network on that day, it seems.

Moreover, the wireless carrier has made the new device available for pre-order for all those who would like to make sure that they get one unit when Galaxy Nexus is officially put up for sale later this week.

Three UK customers can now head over to the wireless carrier's website here and reserve one Galaxy Nexus unit.

The handset is available for free with the signing of a new two-year contract agreement on the wireless carrier's £40 a month plan.

The Galaxy Nexus comes from Samsung with a large 4.65-inch touchscreen display that delivers a 720p resolution, and sports a 1.2GHz dual-core application processor inside.

The new Google phone also includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for recording videos in full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as a camera on the front for making video calls while on the go.

The mobile phone also comes with 32GB of internal memory, which can not be expanded via a microSD memory card slot, as well as with enhanced connectivity capabilities, including 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as NFC capabilities.

Not to mention that it runs under the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which brings along support for new services and applications, along with a brand new UI for users to enjoy.

“It has loads of exciting and improved Android features - including ultra-easy multi-tasking and powerful new ways of communicating and sharing,” Three UK explains.

“There’s also a cool way of sharing Google Map routes, YouTube videos and Android applications with your friends simply by touching handsets using Android Beam.

“Plus the Galaxy Nexus has panoramic image capture and photo-editing - exclusive to Ice Cream Sandwich. Add to this a super-slim, curved design and you’ve got a smartphone that’s hard to beat.”
