When the new Google phone was unveiled to the world last month, Vodafone UK was one of the wireless carriers who announced plans to make it available for its customers, and it seems that the carrier has already started the preparations for this phone's arrival.

To be more specific, the company has added the new Ice Cream Sandwich device to its website on a coming soon page, though no specific info on the release date and pricing have been posted online for the time being.

However, the Galaxy Nexus is expected to arrive on shelves in the UK on November 17th, and the wireless carrier might be set to make it available for purchase starting with that day.

The new smartphone will arrive on shelves as one of the most advanced Android devices in the world, featuring both a large display and a fast application processor, as well as a wide array of other features and capabilities.

“The GALAXY Nexus has a huge 4.65" HD screen – the first of its type on any Samsung smartphone. In fact, it gives you the same resolution as some laptop screens – which means you'll see bright, crisp images in vivid colour when you buy a Samsung GALAXY Nexus deal,” Vodafone notes.

“If you're looking for a high-performing phone, you'll find the dual-core 1.2GHz processor on the Samsung GALAXY Nexus packs a real punch,” the carrier also explains.

“The powerful processor also lets you multi-task easily on your GALAXY Nexus – so you can have a number of different apps running at the same time.”

The smartphone also features fast connectivity capabilities, along with 32GB of internal memory, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with LED flash, zero shutter lag and support for HD video recording.

Not to mention that the new mobile phone is powered by the Ice Cream Sandwich OS flavor, which provides users with an enhanced experience by combining elements from the previously available OS flavors, namely Gingerbread and Honeycomb.

The handset's outer design was also meant to impress a lot: “Buy one of our Samsung GALAXY Nexus deals and you'll immediately notice its striking, sleek design,” Vodafone explains.

“It's enhanced by the fact that the navigation keys actually form part of the large screen – and only reveal themselves when you use them. But despite the size of its screen, the Samsung GALAXY Nexus is only 8.5mm thick and comes with a textured grip on the back – making it light and easy to carry around.”

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus can be seen on Vodafone UK's website here.
