It is identical, in looks, to the GeForce GTX 770 HOF

Apparently, Galaxy is determined to introduce a full HOF-branded graphics card lineup, made of NVIDIA graphics cards with capabilities superior to the original, reference models.

We've already seen the GTX 780 and 770 HOF, and now we can take a look at the GeForce GTX 760 HOF as well.

Normally, NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 760 adapter is a black and green card with a base clock frequency of 980 MHz and a GPU Boost setting of 1,033 MHz. It also uses 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM clocked at 6 GHz (6,008 MHz).

The one that Galaxy has just released is different in almost all respects. And we say almost because the memory is left alone, unlike everything else.

First off, the PCB (printed circuit board) is colored white. Not snow-clear white, but close enough.

Also, the GPU operates at 1,111 MHz under normal circumstances, and 1,176 MHz if games, or whatever happens to be running, need that extra push.

To cope with the higher settings, Galaxy went for an 8-phase VRM and CPL-made chokes, plus IR DirectFETs, and an NEC-Tokin Proadlizer (multi-phase capacitor) that keeps GPU power delivery clean and stable.

Add to that the memory interface of 256 bits and the pair of 8-pin PCI Express power connectors, and there isn't much to complain about. The card needs its juice, we'll give it that, but so does every other high-end adapter these days.

True, the jump from two 6-pin ports to two 8-pin ports is a bit large, but the Galaxy card should be open to consumer overclocking, and the extra energy potential will help there.

All in all, the Galaxy GTX 760 HOF looks a lot like the GTX 770 HOF, only with a different GPU and memory chips.

Sadly, availability details and the price have not been disclosed as of yet.
