The ball-shaped beverage cooler

The 2006 FIFA World Cup is starting this Friday, so we thought it would be a good idea to show you, up until then, some more or less football-related gadgets. And the first, the Husky Soccerkule, is a device that can prove to be extremely useful especially if you're watching the football matches at home, in front of the TV, together with a group of friends.

Thus, the Husky Soccerkule is a cooler/heater, which, as you can see from the photo, is shaped like a soccer ball (to use the American term). It can hold up to 8 x 500 ml cans (regardless of the type of beverage inside the cans, but we all know what people drink when watching a game, don't we?), and has a total storage capacity of 10 liters, quite enough for providing a small number of persons with cold drinks.

As mentioned earlier, the Husky Soccerkule has a double function, as it can be used for both cooling down its contents with up to 25 degrees below the ambient temperature, as well as for heating them up to 65 degrees by set-point thermostat, which also makes the device suitable for heating food. Moreover, it's very portable, having a relatively small weight and the dimensions of 394 x 314 mm (height x diameter), but also very versatile, as it can be powered from both the wall socket and the cigarette lighter in a car or boat, so it can be a very good solution even for watching the matches outdoors.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
