It was a fun and hot night for Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade as they welcomed guests at their engagement party, months after they first broke the news that they were getting married.

The happy couple started their evening at the Call of the Game Dinner, which was an event honoring people in the Miami community who are struggling to make a difference. After making an appearance there, Union and Wade took their partying at the Pearl Champagne Lounge.

Here, they invited close friend actor Jamie Foxx and he didn't disappoint. He showed up and partied with the couple and their guests in the VIP section where there was a lot of dancing and drinking the entire night.

Sources close to the event spoke with ABC News and divulged that the entire party enjoyed a cake decorated with a giant diamond ring, a clear message that this was an engagement party. Also, the cake was said to have had inscribed on it the couple's initials, as a form of signaling their upcoming marriage.

There seems to have been a lot of drinking going on as witnesses reported seeing many golden bottles of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades champagne. However, Union was only seen sipping wine and Wade stuck to water, like a true dedicate athlete should.

Union joked about her father being cut off from bottle service on Instagram when she wrote “You know it's a good time when Pops is turnt is the club #noYOUtellmydadhesbeencutofffrombottleservice (sic).”

Last month Union revealed some saucy details about her husband-to-be, exposing him as a groomzilla. “This is, like, his princess moment,” she said “He's waited for this for a long time. He's been hoarding bridal magazines. He's very ready.”

Just last week, Gabrielle announced the launching of her very own wine brand, a white Chardonnay wine called “Vanilla Puddin” which has been described as a “fun wine with hints of vanillia, super yummy and great for all occasions.”

It's not known if she was enjoying her own brand during her engagement party, but she has been promoting it on television, uncorking a bottle on the Chelsea Lately Show.

Union has previously made headlines when she revealed on the Arsenio Hall Show that she insisted on a prenup in her upcoming marriage to Dwayne Wade and claimed that she wouldn't have it any other way. When asked why she was adamant about a financial agreement, Union joked that she had never seen Dwayne balancing a check book, but then added on a more serious note that she's had some bad past experiences.
