The development team at Rockstar and publisher 2K Games are ready to offer more information on the Special and the Collector's Editions that will be launched for Grand Theft Auto V, focusing on the content that gamers will be able to access at launch.

The first big addition is linked to the weaponry of the game, which will include the .50 Caliber Pistol, the Bullpup Shotgun, and the melee Hammer, all of them available at the Ammu-Nation stores with special customization options.

The three main characters will also get a 20 percent discount at all clothing and cosmetics shops in the game, as well as access to special items.

The team states on the official site that "Each character will receive 1 outfit each, one article of clothing – shirt, hoodie and jacket – each, a special haircut, facial hair look and tattoo."

The Collector's Edition also introduces custom-made characters for the coming GTA Online experience, all based around hereditary parental gene dispersion.

Gamers can also choose daily activities using "everything from family time to illegal work and sports to couch potato hours all have an impact on your character’s appearance and skill set and you can always rank up your skill stats more via gameplay."

Niko Bellic from GTA IV and Claude and Misty from GTA III can be used as parent options.

Michael, Franklin, and Trevor will also get a new boost for their special abilities, and gamers who get special versions of the game will see their activation bar refilling 25 percent faster.

Stunt Plane Trials represent another addition, which offer unique challenges that will give gamers a chance to navigate a number of environments using a special plane, with leaderboards in place to allow for friendly rivalries.

Gamers also get access to a custom garage for their vehicles.

GTA V will be out worldwide on September 17.
