The development team at Rockstar working on the Online mode for Grand Theft Auto V announces that it plans to deliver a range of new tracks to the game world, all of it composed by the same musicians who have also scored the single-player experience.

The company explains that, “Modes such as Survival, Deathmatch as well as your own custom-made Creator Jobs will all be complemented with an updated range of never-before-heard unreleased instrumental music from the original scoring sessions by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, Alchemist and Oh No.”

Rockstar is also giving fans a chance to listen to a preview of the new music that will be offered in GTA Online.

An official launch date is not offered for the new tracks, but the studio says that gamers will be able to experience the songs at some point next month.

Most of the ambient music for GTA V was created by Tangerine Dream, but the company is also using a wide array of both new and classic songs in order to populate the extensive array of radio stations that gamers can listen to.

The Alchemist, who has just released a new Deluxe Edition of his collaboration with Prodigy, says that it was initially hard to understand exactly how to create music for the video game.

He explains, “It was different from making your own album because as an artist, being stubborn, it’s got to go one way or you can’t deal with it. It was good to have a task. You just have to deal with it. In the end, it was a trust thing.”

Rockstar has recently announced a range of updates for the Online game mode that’s designed to arrive during the spring season, with the biggest addition being a new set of Heists that gamers can perform with their friends in order to get exclusive rewards.

At the same time, the studio is promising that more creation tools are being added in order to allow the community to put together its own events and missions, which will then be evaluated by the developers.

Online had serious issues when it was introduced, but the company has since then eliminated all problems and has created a series of events to encourage gamers to continue playing.

Rumors are suggesting that Rockstar will be launching more single-player content for Grand Theft Auto V later during the year, although the company has refused to comment on speculation.
