Real world starts looking like the virtual Liberty City

It's not like the games in the Grand Theft Auto series are some unknown, obscure titles that need big huge stickers posted here and there, but Rockstar's ideas of marketing and promoting a game are absolutely fantastic and really give me a silly sentiment of pride - dunno why, it's not like we're connected.

Still, these guys are amazing and their actions will definitely bring them a few more buyers, as well as a serious number of game haters, hand in hand with Hillary and Jack T. But who cares? GTA IV is wanted, Niko is wanted - it seems only natural to post on buildings huge images like the one you can see in the upper left corner. But there is a little bit more for the ones who really have eyes to see and really care to watch for more than a big ad, say "Oh, cool" and walk by.

Let's recap a little: Wanted posters, .pdf format are available for download on Rockstar's GTA IV official website - go check them, then pay a visit to see them out in the wild here, thanks to the folks over at Kotaku. And that was only the beginning - since small, black and white posters tend to fade quicker than a huge sexy girl with her boobs waiting to pop out from under her clothes, a new add appeared. Similar to the Niko wanted poster, it has everything (including a sweet candy being licked).

What do all these things have in common, except for some really great marketing ideas and, obviously, their Grand Theft Auto 4 crush? Well, if you look at the buildings, you'll get the chance to see two little puns: first, the "par-king" sign and the small but influencing "Colossal" one. What do all these things, brought together, mean? Again, as I said before: Rockstar knows how to advertise their products. Now, we can only hope that no poor lad is unlucky enough to look like Niko (or that there are even fewer people who will actually believe that is a REAL wanted sign).
