Zalman figured now was as good a time as any to unveil its latest PC enclosure, so it issued a press release in which it details the GS1200, its latest desktop Full Tower case.

As with all other markets, the PC enclosure segment covers all users, from the most modestly-equipped, financially, to those with 'unlimited' funds.

Depending on tastes, intention and willingness to spend, consumers are divided into several layers, with the entry-level or low end at the bottom and the enthusiast segment at the top.

Zalman's newest product fits into the latter category, as it is not only large enough to accommodate the biggest of motherboards and video cards, but also boasts various extra assets.

GS1200 has three exposed 5.25-inch drive bays, as well as the obligatory 3.5-inch bays and I/O panel.

The I/O panel itself is placed at the top of the product and provides not just a pair of USB 2.0 ports and audio jacks, but also an eSATA port and an USB 3.0 connector.

The press release made a point of mentioning the tool-free HDD installation, the docking support on the top of the case and the 350 mm wide interior space.

Zalman even implemented separate apertures for convenient CPU cooler installation, plus a pair of pre-drilled holes at the back, so that watercooling tubes may be installed.

All of the above components are packed inside a frame that measures 260 (W) x 570 (H) x 640 (D) mm and weighs a total of 12.4 kg.

Finally, for internal airflow, the company installed multiple fans, two of which are at the rear and have a diameter of 120mm, while two 92mm are on the front and a pair of 200mm fans are on the side and top, respectively.

Orders should already be possible, the price tag being of 185 Euro.
