I know many of you are eager to hear the latest Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 news, so I won't keep you waiting. Ubisoft revealed that this shooter is in development for several platforms including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP and PC.

It will come out in the spring of 2007 and will focus on events in Mexico of 2014, depicting conflicts between loyalist and insurgent rebels. This conflict ultimately escalates into a civil war and the Ghosts are called to calm down spirits. They have to intervene in mountain terrains as well as in the desert and the town of El Paso, Texas.

GRAW 2 will feature upgraded AI for the Ghosts and some new Cross-Com features. As regarding graphics this sequel is said to turn things up a notch, implementing changing weather systems. Ubisoft has not revealed any details about GRAW 2's online or multiplayer capabilities but given GRAW's online popularity I guess it's safe to say that this feature will be tackled in the final version of the game.

In GRAW 2, player will benefit from air support, as they will be able to call upon air strikes from jet fighters and mobile cover deployment. A new Media class will be introduced improving your chances of healing one another when under pressure.

Another interesting new feature in GRAW 2 will be Cross-Com 2.0, evolving from the first game's advanced heads-up display and allowing you to expand to full-view and see what your teammates are seeing.
